On 27 April, in Ho Chi Minh City, Sai Gon Universe Corporation (UNICORP) in collaboration with Universe Media Limited (UniMedia) announced the launch and enrollment of the Miss Universe Vietnam 2021.

The Miss Universe Vietnam 2021 contest selected “Vinawoman – Vietnamese bravery” as the contest theme with the message “every universal girl is a new-age female superhero, they will set themselves a mission and use that power to strongly inspire the community”.

This year, in addition to the Top 3 (a winner and 2 runner-ups), Miss Universe Vietnam 2021 also awarded 10 additional prizes including: Miss Beach, Miss Photogenic, Miss Bravery, Miss Sport, People’s Choice, Miss Fashion, Miss Media, Miss Ao Dai, Miss Congeniality, Miss Talent.

This year’s winner is revealed by the organizers to receive a crown made from thousands of rare and precious stones from IJC, which has the greatest value in the history of beauty contests in Vietnam.

In addition, at the press conference to announce the launch of Miss Universe Vietnam 2021, Mrs. Lieu Thi Phuong – CEO of IJC presented a Sapphire jewelry collection named National Figure that is worth more than 1 billion dongs as a “good luck” to Miss Nguyen Tran Khanh Van in the upcoming international beauty arena. This collection uses a total of 722 intricately hand-engraved gemstones, including 59 yellow Sapphires from dark to light tones and 663 Diamonds.
